LASID brings together health professionals, researchers and experts dedicated to promoting knowledge, diagnosis and treatment of inborn errors of immunity (IEI).

With a history dating back to 1993, LASID has become an important scientific and educational meeting point for the community dedicated to immunodeficiencies in Latin America and other regions.

The most recent edition of the LASID Congress was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October 2025, and brought together more than 570 participants, reaffirming its position as a regional and international forum for scientific exchange.
